An Autograph Collection by Marriott property has debuted in Somerville, Mass., just north of Boston. The 158-room Row Hotel at Assembly Row, featuring 6,192 square feet of meeting space, is part of a multi-use development of shops, fitness facilities, entertainment venues, residences and eateries.

"Our team is thrilled to be officially open, and to welcome both visitors and locals to the Row Hotel at Assembly Row," said general manager Michael O'Shaughnessy. "We're excited to be a part of the vibrant evolution of Assembly Row and Somerville at large, and are eager to provide a new perspective on Boston travel that affords guests the dual benefits of being both minutes from the city and in a neighborhood all its own."

Floor-to-ceiling windows open up the lobby, which is marked by a spiral glass-and-metal staircase and decorated with glassworks by artist Feliciano Bejar. Reflections, the lobby lounge and café, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails, focusing on seasonal dishes like heirloom tomato and Maplebrook burrata salad with crumbled olive, basil, and Maldon sea salt; Pollen-Dusted salmon with sunchoke puree, artichoke and radish salad, pea sprouts and citrus; and Uncommon Carrot Cake, carrot-cake "fries" for dipping in a cream cheese sauce and spiced golden raisin jam.

All guest rooms feature Serta beds, sleek workspace and comfortable seating options, with robes, CO Bigelow toiletries, Illy espresso machines and Dammann Frères French teas. Other hotel amenities include a communal guest pantry, a fitness center and a pool. The 6,192 square feet of meeting space is highlighted by floor-to-ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace.

A block from the hotel is the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's Assembly orange line stop, offering a quick ride into Boston.
