The government of Barbados has agreed to back a $60 million bank loan to restart construction of a Four Seasons on the island. The development has been on hold since last winter. Plans for the 32-acre project initially called for 275 guest rooms and private residences, to open in 2011. A spokesperson for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts said those numbers may be “fluid” going forward. A new completion date has not been set.
