According to news reports, Bill Gates-owned Cascade Investments is buying the 404-room Four Seasons Hotel Houston from Maritz, Wolff & Co. Bloomberg reports Cascade is spending about $140 million on the luxury property. Aside from 16,522 square feet of meeting space, the hotel also features a resort-style pool, the Quattro Italian restaurant, the Vinoteca wine bar, a lobby lounge and a four-treatment-room spa. Upgrades to the hotel are expected to follow.
