Mexican boutique hotelier Grupo Habita opened a new property in Mexico City last week, dubbed Downtown Mexico. The 17-suite designer hotel opened in a 17th-century structure in the city's historic center, combining colonial details with "bohemian-chic" decor. Prominent design elements include an elegant colonial patio, where breakfast is served, as well as two restored murals. The rooftop terrace offers a swimming pool and bar, and may be used for receptions. Modern in-suite amenities include Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and mini-bars.
