Caesars Entertainment announced Monday the creation of a nongaming development unit, called Caesars Global Life, that will include restaurants and luxury hotels, such as the Nobu Hotel planned for a Caesars Palace tower in Las Vegas. Caesars Global Life will focus primarily on licensing, franchising and management agreements. Expanding Caesars' presence overseas, specifically in Asia and Latin America, will be a primary objective of the endeavor. Alexander Mirza, who has held executive positions with Accenture Travel, Hilton and Starwood, has been tapped to head up the new business unit.
