The 150-room Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown was unveiled last week, featuring the brand's "Just-Right" rooms, the Canopy Central Cafe and the Upside rooftop lounge.

"The Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown neighborhood brings guests to Dallas' most walkable district, featuring more than 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment," said Gary Steffen, global head of the brand. "It emphasizes its locale by telling the story of the Uptown district throughout the hotel, including artwork, vintage bricks from McKinney Avenue and a refurbished piece of the M-Line Trolley."
Guest-room comforts include free WiFi, a 55-inch TV, a built-in fridge drawer and beds designed exclusively for Canopy. Suites feature a separate living area, balconies, bathrobes and Canopy socks. On each floor, there is a filtered spring water station for refilling reusable water bottles or just grabbing a drink. The fitness center is available at all hours.

The 3,500 square feet of event space is on the top floor, where floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the Dallas skyline.

Complimentary Canopy Bikes are on hand for exploring the neighborhood, and local experts known as Canopy by Hilton Enthusiasts can help guests find the best spots. "Two neighborhood favorites include the Rustic, a local spot to enjoy craft beer and wine and local live music on their award-winning patio, and Katy Trail Ice House, a communal beer garden located right in the heart of Uptown," says Steffen. "Additionally, McKinney Avenue flows right through the middle of the Uptown Dallas district, and is home to numerous local gems."
