Singapore-based developer Castlewood Group will develop the Début Hotel Group's new Dream Hotels brand in Asia, according to a strategic partnership signed by the companies on Tuesday. New York's Hampshire Hotel Management launched the Début Hotel Group last year. The upper-upscale Dream Hotels is one of five lifestyle brands under the Début umbrella, along with Augustus Hotels & Resorts, Time Hotels, Night Hotels and Unscripted Hotels.
Under the agreement, Castlewood and its subsidiaries will open up to 20 Dream hotels over the next decade. The brand promises contemporary, chic properties in cosmopolitan settings; the first property will be the Dream Phuket Hotel & Spa, debuting this December in Bang Tao, Thailand, adjacent to the Laguna Phuket development. Dream Hotels currently has properties in New York City and Miami, as well as Kerala, India, and Bangkok, Thailand, with additional projects planned for New York and Los Angeles.
