The 288-room British Colonial Hilton in Nassau in the Bahamas has been sold to the China State Construction Engineering Firm, according to press reports. The firm plans to renovate the property, which was featured as a film location in the 1965 James Bond movie Thunderball, and build condos on adjacent land. The CSCEF also is a major investor in the Baha Mar resort complex, currently being built in Nassau's Cable Beach.
