Deutsche Bank, which owns the Cosmopolitan hotel development on the Las Vegas Strip, has reached a settlement with Hearst Corp., publisher of Cosmopolitan magazine, over use of the trademarked name. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the hotel officially is changing its name to Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. When it opens, the 2,995-room property will offer a 100,000-square-foot casino and 150,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel was scheduled to open this fall, but the hotel's website currently makes no mention of an opening date.
