The Cromwell, a 188-room boutique hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, hosted its first guests last week. Caesars Entertainment opened the $185 million property on the site of the former Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon. Among the hotel's amenities are 19 suites; Bound, a lobby bar; a 40,000-square-foot casino with 66 table games and 440 slots; and the 65,000-square-foot Drai's Beach Club and Nightclub, a rooftop pool venue with panoramic views of the Strip. Giada, the on-site restaurant and the first from chef Giada de Laurentiis, will open June 3. The restaurant will have a private-dining room, and the rooftop area can be used for events.
