The fastest-growing hotel construction pipelines in the United States are in Dallas, Nashville and Atlanta, according to consulting firm Lodging Econometrics. The Dallas pipeline has 41 hotels more than it did at this time last year, for a total of 128 projects or 16,124 rooms. The construction pipeline in Nashville increased by 39 projects year-over-year, for a total of 89 hotels or 11,566 rooms. And in Atlanta, the project count is up by 29 hotels, for a total of 79 properties or 9,912 rooms.

In all three cities, Marriott International accounts for the largest number of projects among hotel companies, with 29 projects slated for Dallas, 20 for Nashville and 24 for Atlanta.

Notably, all but one of those Marriott hotel projects is either under construction or scheduled to start within the next 12 months.
