The 201-room Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop, an Autograph Collection property from Marriott, has debuted in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood. "We are excited to welcome our second Autograph Collection hotel in Denver and third in Colorado with the Jacquard, which remains true to the brand's promise of delivering an 'exactly like nothing else experience,'" said Jennifer Connell, vice president of brand marketing and management for Autograph Collection Hotels.

Luxury touches at the property include champagne splits in each guest room, access to personal stylists to tailor visitors' shopping experiences, and on-demand transportation in the Tesla Model X house car.

"The Jacquard pays homage to famed French inventor Joseph Marie Jacquard, known for inventing the automatic loom that made patterned fabrics, and of-the-moment style, available to the masses," said Jason Dorfman, the hotel's general manager. "Similarly, the Jacquard will serve as the fabric of the Cherry Creek community, acting as a stylish host to a myriad of tailored and irresistible experiences."

Floor-to-ceiling windows characterize the property's 6,900 square feet of meeting space, which includes a wraparound balcony. The Jacquard's rooftop features a 75-foot pool, which can be topped with a translucent cover and can be used for events.

On Denver's 16th Street Mall, the 1,231-room Sheraton Denver Downtown, Colorado's largest hotel, has been sold to Denver HS-EF Court Place, a joint venture between High Street Real Estate Partners and Eagle Four Partners, for an undisclosed price. The property features 133,000 square feet of meeting room space and is a few blocks from the Colorado Convention Center. The new owners are planning a major renovation that will encompass the guest rooms and public space to coincide with Marriott International's relaunch of the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts brand.
"We are thrilled to be the new owners of the Sheraton Denver Downtown and look forward to being an integral part of the downtown community," said Kory Kramer, a partner with Eagle Four Partners. "Our investment strategy is opportunistic, seeking hotel assets in top-tier markets with excellent locations and long-term growth potential generating strong and consistent returns."
The Sheraton's amenities include a heated rooftop pool, a fitness center and several on-site restaurants.
"Our low-basis acquisition coupled with our substantial renovation plan will continue to position the Sheraton as Denver's trophy group, meeting and events hotel, benefitting from a close proximity to the convention center in one of the nation's hottest markets," said Justin Wilson, president of High Street Real Estate Partners.
