 Washington, D.C.-based Carr Hospitality and InterContinental Hotels Group recently announced plans for a 268-room hotel in Washington, D.C.'s Southwest Waterfront district, according to the Washington Post. The property would be part of a $2 billion redevelopment of the area and would include a 5,000-square-foot rooftop lounge and ballrooms overlooking the Washington Channel.
