The 1,910-room Disney's Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World Resort has revealed the details of its new meeting and event spaces. The property, which is undergoing an expansion and renovation that will be unveiled in 2019, will add a new boardroom, three multipurpose meeting rooms and new prefunction space to its current 220,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and function space.
The extra meeting space is part of major upgrade project for the property.  Other enhancements include the addition of a new 15-story tower with 545 guest rooms and a rooftop restaurant and lounge with panoramic views. The property also will add a new concierge-level club lounge and upgrade its current guest rooms, all of which will have digital-key access via the My Disney Experience app on guests' mobile devices. The app also will allow travelers who check in online to bypass the need to visit the front desk. Among the other enhancements announced for Disney's Coronado Springs are the addition of floating gardens and an island oasis connected by a series of bridges to surrounding areas.
