The first phase of a multimillion-dollar renovation has been completed at the 329-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport North in Grapevine, Texas.

Enhancements to property, which is just two miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, include a redesigned lobby and a new look for its 12-story atrium. The renovation also includes three new breakout rooms on the first floor of the hotel, with large windows allowing for plenty of natural light.

The hotel offers more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and each meeting room has in-wall televisions with integrated power, as well as data-connection ports built into the boardroom tables for easy projection. The ballroom was redone with new carpeting, wall finishings and improved sound buffering.

New eateries include Hallford's Restaurant & Bar, offering modern American cuisine and incorporating the traditions of Texas with local and sustainable sourcing, as well as Hallford's Mercantile, a new marketplace café where light meals and Starbucks coffee are served.

Updates to the suites, which will be completed by the summer of 2018, will include new furniture, flooring, drapery and artwork.

"We're excited to deliver our guests a sleek and modern design that provides them with an even more enticing experience," said Obed H. Morales, the hotel's general manager. Morales joined the Atrium Hospitality team in July 2017 and brings 15 years of managerial experience at all-suite hotels - 14 of them with the Embassy Suites brand.

The hotel offers complimentary 24-hour transportation to and from the airport, made-to-order breakfast and evening refreshments, complimentary scheduled transportation to Grapevine Mills Mall, a fitness center and an indoor pool.
