The 318-room Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers, has opened in the capital of Azerbaijan. The property, which features approximately 27,000 square feet of meeting space, offers several lounges and restaurants, including an authentic French patisserie and a specialty steak house; opening later this summer are a fitness center, the ESPA spa, and indoor and outdoor pools. The 36-floor hotel also will display a world-class contemporary art collection, commissioned and collated by Farmboy Fine Art.
