The 137-room Six Senses New York, the luxury brand's first North American property, will debut in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood in 2019.

The hotel will be part of a two-tower, mixed-use development by HFZ Capital Group named the Eleventh, which also will include 240 condominium residences and high-end retail stores. The hotel will be on 10 floors of the east tower adjacent to the High Line walkway on the city's West Side.

The property will have a Six Senses Spa and two restaurants. Plans also call for a private members' club within the hotel and meeting space to cater to small groups and board meetings. Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas operates 11 resorts and 28 spas in 19 countries under the brand names Six Senses, Evason and Six Senses Spas. Pegasus Capital Advisors L.P., a New York-based private equity fund, acquired Six Senses in 2012.
