The former Grand Station Hotel in Vicksburg, Miss., has been purchased by Vicksburg Hotel LLC, a Biloxi, Miss.-based entity that plans to revamp the shuttered, bankrupt property. The 117-room hotel closed 16 months ago after the waterfront area's last casino shut down. Talks are set to start this week on a possible hotel brand and designer. The Vicksburg Post said Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs Jr. was bullish on the reopened hotel helping the city's eponymous convention center, a half-mile away.
