The 400-acre Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, has begun a $7 million redesign and renovation of level one of its 34,000-square-foot conference center. Work started in December and will finish up in May.

The new look will feature stone flooring in the common areas, custom-designed carpet and pendant lighting in a color palette of slate greys, neutrals and sage green. A new 4,400-square-foot space, the Lantana Room and deck, will be added, with a floor-to-ceiling window wall. The new Pecos Room will offer about 600 square feet of breakout space.

"Group business in North Texas couldn't be healthier, and with the extensive renovation and new room additions, we are excited to offer a more comprehensive list of venue options for our guests to fulfil their event needs," said Dirk Burghartz, general manager of the resort. "We'll continue to provide impeccable service with attention to every detail and look forward to enhancing our client's experience with an amazing new product."

The 431-room Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, about 20 minutes from both Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport, features two championship 18-hole golf courses (the PGA's AT&T Byron Nelson golf tournament is played there in May), indoor and outdoor tennis courts, jogging tracks, racquetball courts, a fitness center, two restaurants, four swimming pools and a child-care center.
