Whether staying in its hotels or simply visiting one of its spas, bars or lobbies, guests at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts  properties now can log on for free. The Canadian luxury hotel chain announced this week that it is now offering complimentary Wi-Fi for an unlimited number of devices across its portfolio of nearly 100 hotels (with another nine slated to open in 2016), except for its hotels in China and India, where local regulations prohibit the service.

"We have introduced new global standards to give Four Seasons guests a seamless, convenient and higher quality internet experience, whether staying with us, using our mobile app or visiting the public areas of our hotels and resorts," said Scott Taber, senior vice president of rooms in a statement announcing the new service.

In February of this year, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide began offering free Internet access to consumers enrolled in its loyalty program, Starwood Preferred Guests, and those who reserved their stay through the SPG website or any of their hotels' individual websites or apps. Four Seasons, however, takes its new connectivity program, One Click, a step further by giving the service to everyone visiting one of its properties, not just members of its loyalty program. "In addition to free, faster Wi-Fi with seamless, one-click service, guests no longer need multiple logins in different areas of the hotel, and they can access our Wi-Fi network with as many devices as they wish," added Taber.
