The 112-room Bethany Beach Ocean Suites will debut Aug. 1, the first full-service property directly on Bethany Beach in Delaware. The property, between Rehoboth Beach, Del., and Ocean City, Md., features a 1,200-square-foot-spa, oceanfront dining and 4,400 square feet of event space.

"This is such a classic and utterly unique destination in the Mid-Atlantic," said Patrick Staib, a Delaware native and general manager of the new hotel. "We are honored to bring an entirely new experience to the region."

Meeting space at the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites includes a Grand Ballroom for up to 300 people, a 12-person boardroom and a 52-person breakout room. The property will offer personalized healthy menus, team-building exercises and beach activities for groups.

All of the 112 suites have balconies, most overlooking either the ocean or the Bethany Beach Boardwalk. Accommodations feature kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs, Paul Mitchell amenities and sleeper sofas. Propertywide complimentary Wi-Fi extends onto the beach, and the saltwater pool has a retractable roof to host year-round events and wellness programming.

The oceanfront restaurant, 99 Sea Level, is named for the hotel's address at 99 Hollywood Street; chefs have partnered with area farms and fisheries to create seasonal new-American menus. The bar at 99 Sea Level features a raw bar menu, local craft beers and cocktails infused with house-made syrups, tonics and seasonal fruit juices.
