 A new upscale convention hotel is waiting approval in Garden Grove, Calif., just south of Disneyland in Anaheim. The 700-room property would include 50,000 square feet of function space, 15,000 square feet of dining and a resort pool. The project requires the city to come up with a relocation plan for the six homes and four businesses the hotel would displace. City manager Matthew Fertal said that if all goes to plan, the project could break ground as early as next year
