Greek boutique hotel company Grace Hotels has announced a significant expansion strategy that will add more than 30 properties in the next 10 years to the luxury brand's portfolio. Grace, which was launched in 2007 in Greece's Cyclades Islands, now includes six diverse properties, with another five hotels under development: two more in Greece, and one each in Argentina, Morocco and Switzerland.
"Our strategy is to seek out outstanding, brand-consistent destinations, and curate culturally integrated, authentic local properties as part of our continued commitment to further enriching our guests' experiences," said Grace Hotels' CEO Robert Swade at the International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin.
Swade, who was appointed to lead the brand in 2016, said Grace Hotels is now focusing on further expanding the collection within the EMEA region and North America in key gateway cities, as well as in leading leisure destinations. In addition, he said the company was in development talks to manage several properties in Europe and the Caribbean under the Grace brand.
