 Hotel average daily rate for groups is up 4.3 percent over last year, based on reservations on the books from May 2012 through April 2013, according to data from the May 2012 TravelClick North American Hospitality Review. The report looks at group sales commitments and individual reservations in the 25 major North American markets. Looking forward, group occupancy for May and June is up 4.7 percent year-over-year, based on current bookings, and the third-quarter outlook reveals a 7 percent rise in group occupancy and 7.2 percent hike in group ADR.
