The 774-room New York Helmsley Hotel will undergo a six-month, $65 million renovation and be reflagged as a Westin property this spring. The makeover includes a redesign of the guest rooms and an expansion of the  lobby and bar. Meeting space also will be renovated and expanded to include five new breakout rooms, for a total of 15,000 square feet. At press time, Starwood Hotels & Resorts had not yet renamed the property.
