A 288-room hotel will occupy 18 floors of the proposed Australia 108 building in Melbourne, a striking mixed-use tower that has just been approved by city officials. The hotel will have a separate lobby entry and elevators, away from the residents' entry. The two-story Sky Lobby on the 83rd floor will offer two restaurants, two bars and lounge areas. The hotel's pool, gym and spa will be on the 84th floor. The 1,273-foot building will be the Southern Hemisphere's tallest structure. The construction timeline has yet to be set.
