Columbus, Ohio, welcomed a new convention center hotel on Monday: a $140 million, 532-room Hilton. The Hilton Columbus Downtown, which expects to receive both LEED and Green Seal certifications, includes 31,000 square feet of meeting space and is connected to the 1.7 million-square-foot Greater Columbus Convention Center by a skybridge. Other amenities include full-service dining options and a 225-piece art collection featuring more than 128 local artists.
