The 210-room Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Golden Horn opened Monday, adding to the Turkish city's explosive growth. The modern hotel is on the European side of the city, less than four miles from the entertainment and shopping district of Beyoglu. A 24-hour business center is on-site, as are eight meeting rooms, the largest able to accommodate 250 attendees. In total, the hotel's meeting space can accommodate up to 400. The property, which is certified LEED Gold, also offers an on-site restaurant that serves international and Turkish cuisine, a lobby bar, a 24-hour convenience store and a fitness room.
