The newly built, 347-room Hilton Panama opened last week as part of a mixed-use office, retail and entertainment complex in Panama City. The hotel's prominent site on Panama Bay is about 20 minutes from the capital's airport and within walking distance of the financial district. The property offers six food-and-beverage outlets, including signature restaurant Society Café and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, as well as 23,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that includes 17 meeting rooms and a ballroom that can accommodate 800 attendees. The on-site eforea: Spa at Hilton is the first in Latin America and is complemented by a 24-hour, 5,000-square-foot fitness center and outdoor swimming pool.
