Hilton kicked off a new campaign at IMEX America this week to honor travel professionals. Titled "WowMakers," the initiative celebrates meeting, event and travel professionals with a new portal and promotions., previously the planner portal known as "Connect," is now home to WowMakers. The campaign will spotlight various planners and travel professionals who have excelled to create "wow" moments for their clients, in collaboration with Hilton. Until Nov. 15, industry professionals can share their favorite stories of such moments using the #WowMakersContest hashtag; prizes will be awarded each week, and winners will be featured in the campaign.

The WowMakers site also will feature curated tips for professionals, as well as a link to the Meet With Purpose program, which Hilton formalized and expanded early last month. New materials and resources will be rolled out to the site on a regular basis, according to the company.
