Hilton Worldwide is following the lead of other major hotel companies in offering free Wi-Fi access to loyalty club members, according to a Hilton HHonors representative. Beginning in the second quarter, Diamond members will receive complimentary premium Wi-Fi access at all properties when they book directly via a Hilton channel or with a corporate travel partner. Starting in August, Blue and Silver members will receive free standard Wi-Fi access when they book via a Hilton channel or corporate travel partner. Gold members will continue to get free standard Wi-Fi when they book via the same options. Valid booking options include the Hilton HHonors mobile app; online from, or any Hilton brand or hotel websites; calling the Hilton reservations customer-care number; calling or booking in person at an individual property, or via corporate travel agencies or travel professionals who book via one of the Hilton channels. The new terms do not apply at hotels that charge resort fees.
