The 344-room Hilton Boston Woburn just northwest of the city has been sold to a partnership of the Rubicon Cos. and the Davis Cos. The property will remain a Hilton, as the hotel chain has agreed to extend the terms of its franchise.

"The hotel provided the potential for new ownership to effectuate change immediately, while benefitting from a strategic relationship with Hilton and capitalizing on the current growth cycle -- all attractive features to the investment community," said Jeffrey Davis, international director of JLL, a professional services and investment management firm that arranged the sale. "Additionally, the hotel's proximity to downtown Boston, Logan International Airport and other regional attractions provide the hotel with year-round demand."

The Hilton Boston Woburn features more than 17,500 square feet of meeting space, a full-service restaurant and lounge, an indoor pool, a business center and a fitness facility.
