Ground has been broken on The Art, a 165-room hotel in downtown Denver. The property will be the top half (floors five through nine) of a multi-use building that also will house office space. Meeting rooms and special event space will be on the fourth floor. The hotel, which will open in January 2015 in the Golden Triangle Museum District, was designed by Davis Partnership and Studio Daniel Libeskind. Libeskind also designed a wing of the neighboring Denver Art Museum.
