The 157-room Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables in Florida has joined the Tribute Portfolio, Marriott Hotels & Resorts' collection of independent properties, following an $18 million refresh. Guest rooms now feature wood floors and contemporary stainless-steel pedestal beds, sectional sofas and bronze, smoked glass desks.

The property has a landscaped rooftop terrace and an adjacent pool; a game room where guests can play billiards, tabletop shuffleboard and video games; and 23,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. Dinner and drinks are served at the Aragon Café and a new lobby bar.

"Fresh from its meticulous redesign, Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables is a true representation of the Tribute Portfolio brand, thanks to its one-of-a-kind amenities, such as the quirky Game Room, and its stylish new design that taps into the history of charming Coral Gables," said Lori Strasberg, vice president of global brand management for Tribute Portfolio. "Newly imagined by Dawson Design Associates, from the glamorous event venues to the sleek and modern guest rooms, each space features aesthetic inspired by the local destination."
