Hotel-industry data and analytics provider Hotel Complete has launched a new biweekly report entitled the Guest Review Rankings Report, which compiles guest reviews from eight major sites and then normalizes ratings, so they can be consistently compared. The report looks at published guest reviews for every hotel in the top 25 U.S. hotel markets. Hotel Complete launched the report based on a detailed analysis completed last year, which revealed that average review scores by hotel class matched the relative quality of the properties. Viewing the report requires one of three subscription levels: Basic (free) offers current data by city and hotel class for all 25 markets, including the top five hotels, by class, in each city; Single City ($39.99 per year) includes all basic information plus on-demand, downloadable access to the entire hotel ranking list for one city; and Top 25 U.S. Markets ($249.99 per year) includes all basic information plus on-demand, downloadable access to the entire hotel ranking list for all 25 cities. According to the inaugural report, the three cities with the highest current average ratings, in order, are Washington, D.C.; Chicago, and New York City.
