Hyatt Hotels & Resorts launched its new Group Bill technology, which is a real-time billing and tracking system designed to improve work flow and save time for meeting planners by allowing them to track and reconcile costs more efficiently. Planners meeting at a Hyatt property would be able to see their bill with real-time accuracy and broken down into relevant categories, like rooms, food and beverage, and any additional charges. The program can generate an interactive PDF of the meeting’s entire spend with hyperlinks that lets planners jump to different areas of the report easily. “Hyatt’s new Group Bill simplifies the billing process and gives the most valuable currency back to our customers — time,” said Rodahl Leong-Lyons, vice president of sales operations with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. The program is expected to be rolled out to most of Hyatt’s North American properties by the end of the year.
