The Hyatt Regency New Orleans reopens today following a $275 million redesign and renovation. The property, which has been closed since Hurricane Katrina hit the city in 2005, offers 1,193 guest rooms and more than 200,000 square feet of function space, including a 50,000-square-foot exhibit hall and two 25,000-square-foot ballrooms. The hotel offers several food and beverage options, such as Borne, which serves coastal Louisiana seafood and is owned by James Beard award-winning New Orleans chef, John Besh.
