The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa is starting a $100 million room renovation that will be completed in the spring. Upgrades include a new palette inspired by the colors of the sea and sky, and new furniture, beds and bidet-style toilets. Additional electrical outlets and dimmer switches on lights also will be added. The 1,230-room hotel has a 10,000-square-foot spa, a swimming pool overlooking Waikiki Beach and more than 19,000 square feet of function space.
