The 619-suite Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos officially opened on Monday, marking the debut of Hyatt's entry into the all-inclusive resort market. The family-friendly resort, formerly the Barceló Cabo, overlooks the Sea of Cortéz in San José del Cabo, on Mexico's Baja peninsula. Amenities include eight restaurants and six bars and lounges, as well as 35,000 square feet of meeting space, including the 11,624-square-foot Grand Theater, which accommodates more than 500 attendees. The property also offers lawn, garden and beach venues for special events. The new Ziva has a spa, a fitness enter, a game room, a kids' club and more than 50,000 square feet of swimming areas. Hotel guests get preferred tee times at several nearby golf courses.
