InterContinental Hotels Group is now managing two properties in Portugal: the 331-room InterContinental Lisbon and the 232-room Crowne Plaza Porto. The name on the Lisbon property, built in 1984 as a Le Méridien and most recently known as the Tiara Park Atlantic Lisbon Hotel, will change in a few weeks; a renovation of the lobby and public areas is planned. The luxury city-center hotel features 18 meeting rooms, a fitness studio, a restaurant and a bar. In Porto, the Park Atlantic Hotel Porto also will undergo some renovations, after which its name will change to the Crowne Plaza Porto. The property features 11 meeting rooms and an all-day dining restaurant.
