 JW Marriott will open a 300-room resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in 2015, Marriott International announced. The resort will cover 14 acres in the master-planned community of Puerto Los Cabos and include 820 feet of beachfront on the Sea of Cortez. The Puerto Los Cabos development, which is three miles southeast of San Jose del Cabo, will have private residences, a marina and an 18-hole golf course, plus restaurants and retail establishments. Plans for the JW Marriott call for three on-site restaurants and 13,131 square feet of meeting space, including a divisible main ballroom, breakout rooms and a boardroom. Among the additional facilities will be a swimming pool, a spa, a temazcal sweat lodge, tennis courts and a fitness center. The property will be the fourth JW Marriott in Mexico.
