Jean Capps had been appointed general manager of Sheraton Bay Point Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida.

"Jean brings the perfect mix of valuable full-service, Florida resort leadership, coupled with her creative approach to creating top-notch guest experiences at her properties, making her the perfect choice."  

Capps previously served as general manager of B Ocean Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she led the hotel's transition from the former Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach. Capps also worked at properties including Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek and Sheraton Suites Plantation.

"The opportunity to continue my management career here at Sheraton Bay Point Resort is an incredible one," said Capps. "This property has long been an icon within this destination, and I'm thrilled to work with the incredible team in showcasing the re-imagined resort while continuing to discover ways to elevate the overall guest experience." 

Sheraton Bay Point Resort recently completed a $30 million renovation and rebranding. The property offers 320 guest rooms, five dining options, a full-service spa and more than 60,000 square feet of meeting space.
