The 430-room Jumeirah Al Naseem has opened at Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah Resort, which also includes the iconic Burj al Arab Jumeirah, the Jumeirah Beach Resort and the Madinat Jumeirah. Among the offerings at the beachfront property are seven restaurants and bars, an adults-only pool and a purpose-built lagoon for turtle rehabilitation (guests will be able to feed the turtles starting next year). Four additional restaurants will open in the coming weeks at the lagoon. Meetings and events at the property are accommodated at the Madinat Jumeirah convention center, which offers 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, including Fort Island, an outdoor venue that hosts up to 1,400 delegates.
Hotel general manager Richard Alexander explains the concept of the property: "During the 7th century, Arabs traveled and settled across certain parts of the Mediterranean and left behind a strong legacy of architecture, art, fashion and cuisine. This inspired us to create the theme of the Arabian Explorer, which provides guests and visitors an opportunity to take a culinary tour of the region's past through seven of the hotel's bars and restaurants."
