 Dubai-based luxury hotel company Jumeirah will assume management of the 115-room Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, on May 1. From that point on the property will be known as the Pera Palace Hotel, Jumeirah. The landmark hotel, originally opened in 1892 as a destination on the Orient Express, underwent a major refurbishment and reopened in September 2010. On site are a 4,090-square-foot spa and four function rooms, as well as a restaurant named for Agatha Christie. The hotel is in the Beyoglu district, a
