Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will debut its first non-U.S. property, a 263-room, 56-residence hotel, on Grand Cayman in 2016, according to Travel Weekly, M&C's sister publication. The hotel is scheduled to open on Seven Mile Beach, on the site of the former Courtyard by Marriott, which was demolished earlier this year; it had been damaged during Hurricane Rita in 2008. Plans call for five restaurants and lounges, meeting space and a spa. A name for the new property has not yet been announced.
