The 350-room all-inclusive Paradisus Los Cabos, a Meliá resort on the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California peninsula, has joined Leading Hotels of the World, a curated collection of independent and distinct luxury hotels. LHW is one of the largest such global networks, with more than 400 properties from 80 countries in its portfolio. Membership is awarded to hotels based on precise standards with respect to accommodations, service, cuisine, staff and facilities. The collection is aimed at the curious traveler who wants to discover new destinations.

"It is a pleasure to welcome Paradisus Los Cabos to our portfolio," said Deniz Omurgonulsen, LHW's vice president of membership. "This meticulously reconstructed property is part of the successful redevelopment story of the vibrant destination of Los Cabos. The hotel offers a perfect beach escape, complemented by uncommon culinary, cultural and nature experiences, for Leading Hotels' curious travelers."

The beachfront Paradisus Los Cabos, Meliá's fourth in Mexico, debuted in December 2016, following a U.S. multimillion-dollar renovation. It sits on a swimmable beach in the Cabo corridor, about 25 minutes from San José del Cabo International Airport. The 14.5-acre resort, surrounded by gardens and picturesque mountains, includes 98 adults-only Royal Service Suites with butler service and 30 Family Concierge Suites, in addition to 28 Ocean View Swim-Up Suites.

Property facilities include four swimming pools, seven bars and seven restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines. The on-site convention center offers 13,500 square feet of meeting space and is located next to the Cabo Real private golf course.

The resort's culinary program serves a variety of restaurants, including Naos (international buffet), Bana (contemporary Asian), Market Grill (Italian-Argentinian), Mole (modern Mexican) and La Palapa (exclusive poolside Royal Service grill). For an additional cost, guests can dine at Gastro Bar by Martin Berasategui, which features award-winning cuisine by chef Martin Berasategui, who has earned eight Michelin stars in his career. At Gastro Bar, guests can indulge in either an à la carte menu or a tasting menu curated by the chef. Those who want to enjoy more of a party atmosphere can experience any of the resort's bars and lounges, including Avenue Bar, Wet Bar Swim-up Pool Bar and GABi, a two-story beach club with a rooftop terrace overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

Among additional amenities are a signature wine cellar, 24-hour room service and complimentary WiFi access, as well as a signature YHI Spa with a comprehensive menu of luxurious treatments, relaxation areas for guests and a ludic pool (a special hydrotherapy pool), plus a fitness center for personal training and wellness activities.
