Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Lansdowne Resort and Spa, a Destination Hotel in Leesburg, Va., has undergone a renovation of all 296 guest rooms. The accommodations now showcase décor designed to celebrate the property's location in Virginia's wine country, including bar carts used as minibars, wine-cask nightstands and drinking glasses made from recycled wine bottles.

A quick ride from Washington, D.C., the Lansdowne Resort and Spa offers 55,000 square feet of meeting space, including 37 meeting rooms, a 9,525-square-foot grand ballroom, the 3,293-square-foot Terrace Ballroom and a 126-seat amphitheater. Set on 476 acres along the banks of the Potomac River, the property features 45 holes of championship golf; the 12,000-square-foot, full-service Spa Minérale; the Aquatic Complex with five pools, a waterslide, a heated indoor lap pool and a poolside café; a health and fitness center; three tennis courts, and a FootGolf course played with soccer balls. For dining, there are four options: Stonewalls Tavern, featuring light dishes and cocktails; the Riverside Hearth, for buffet-style fare; fine dining at Piedmont's Table, in the Golf Club at Lansdowne; and casual fare at the Pub46 Lounge.

The dining options at the property are next on the renovation list, to be completed in 2017, but details have not yet been released.
