According to news reports, developer R.C. Hedreen Co. has announced plans to build a 1,500-room hotel in Seattle, the largest convention property north of San Francisco. Replacing the current Greyhound bus station, which will relocate this fall, the new property would offer retail space and 150,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel would open in 2017.
