Le Méridien Philadelphia, a 201-room luxury property in Center City, celebrated its grand opening last Thursday. The historic property once was the YMCA building and was designed by American architect Horace Trumbauer. As Le Méridien's new flagship property, the hotel offers 5,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 2,300-square-foot ballroom and a 1,300-square-foot reception space that overlooks City Hall. A signature French restaurant, Amuse, also is on-site.
