Fresh off a major meeting space expansion, Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando has completed a renovation to its 1,000 guest rooms. Featuring a South Pacific theme, the guest rooms now include an island-inspired color palette; custom furniture incorporating pieces from steamships and vintage luggage; new desks with USB connectors and multiple outlets; and custom wall graphics showcasing the flora, fauna, and native motifs of the South Seas.
Already the largest meetings hotel at Universal Orlando Resort, the property added 47,000 square feet of meeting space last fall, growing its total function space from 85,000 square feet to over 132,000 square feet.
"Our new rooms are vibrant and luxurious, evoking the romance of traveling to the South Pacific. Combined with an extensive upgrade and renovation to the bathrooms, it is an entirely new room product for our guests to experience," said Barb Bowden, managing director of the Loews Meeting Complex at Universal Orlando, which consists of the Loews Royal Pacific Resort and the new Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
Opening this summer, the Sapphire will connect to the Royal Pacific via covered bridge, giving meeting planners seamless access to 2,000 combined guest rooms and more than 250,000 square feet of combined meeting space.
